Do Excel macros break when I upload to SharePoint? #M365AMA

In this episode, the #M365AMA panel discusses the following community question:

“I have a question: I have an intranet with SharePoint. If you upload an Excel with macros to intranet do you lose the functionality of the file? I already tried, and nothing. I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong, or if I definitely can’t. Thank you”

  • Sharon suggests that Excel online and macros don’t like each other. Don’t do it. Maybe consider SPO and Power Automate solution instead!
