May 2022 Content Wrap-Up

I’ll keep this intro short, as I’m trying to quickly push this post live so that I can get back into a deck I’m building for tomorrow. You know, work stuff. May included yet another tweetjam, countless AMA discussions (well, that is a slight exaggeration), various interviews, and one good old-fashioned blog post that seems to be garnering a lot of attention. I traveled to Dallas to participate in an event, and had my wife join me for the weekend following so that we could drive around and get a good look at Dallas to see if we might want to move there. Someday. Soooo much construction happening there right now. I think we may wait and see.

my foot at a conferenceI also gave presentations as part of the IAMCP Virtual Chapter, which was a fun topic, as well to the M365 Virtual Marathon crowd on one of my favorite topics: productivity tips! In June, I’m busy busy busy with presentations, wrapping up a ton of new content, and preparing to venture back out into international waters when I’ll be speaking at Commsverse in London at the end of June. Oh, and as for other major events, I’ll be at IT Nation Evolve in Denver in August, EduCon Chicago in September (helping out with the booth and seeing peeps), and ESPC Copenhagen in November. Also in the works are plans for some MTC events around the US and elsewhere. Right now we know we’ll be in Mexico City, possibly in early September, and will be adding other countries and dates throughout H2 and into 2023.

Enjoy the content from this past month!

#P2Pnow series

We’re recording more segments this week, and plan to continue with this weekly series of channel-related content. If you are an MSP, SI, VAR, or other partner, have you checked out this series yet? They are typically under 5 minutes, and include a video and summary blog post every Thursday.

#CollabTalk TweetJam

Great topic this month, with a decent turnout and some great participation, once again surpassing 2 million impressions in this one-hour Twitter-based event. Thanks again to tyGraph and AvePoint for sponsoring! Topics have been locked down for June, July and August….with more updates coming later this month!

Random Article

Here’s the post that seems to be garnering a lot of attention. Always happy with increased traffic, but the topic seems to have hit a nerve. Can you run Microsoft Teams while also disabling SharePoint and OneDrive? It’s a question I’ve heard a number of times, and I thought I’d expand on it and tell you the official answer, and the unofficial answer.

#M365AMA panel discussions

I need to plan some additional recording times this month for more panel discussions on questions asked by the community. I have emptied my reserves with the following:

Interviews

As for interviews, I took a break from my podcast schedule, publishing just one interview this past month, but the MVP interviews keep flowing, as well as the bi-monthly Office 365 Hours segment (which broadcasts on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month on the AvePoint YouTube page at 11am ET). I’d love to do more podcasts, and am once again reaching out to folks from across the ecosystem to schedule more discussions. If you’d like to participate in #O365hours, #MVPbuzzChat, or the #CollabTalk Podcast, please reach out to me!

Et Al

And finally, here is my May 1st content post, as well as a short list of obscure albums that are part of my collection. I would love to write more music posts. Is weekly too much?
