New Video Upload : Deep Dive into Power BI with SharePoint

MUGUT webinar with MVP John WhiteIn support of the Utah SharePoint User Group (#UTSPUG) and Microsoft User Group Utah (#MUGUT) Meetup, I had the pleasure of hosting MVP John White (@diverdown1964) today for a webinar entitled Deep Dive into Power BI with SharePointin which John provided an excellent overview of Power BI’s capabilities, and walked us through several demos to show us how the platform can be used in conjunction with SharePoint on-prem and online.¬† The full recording is viewable below.

For those who don’t know John, he is a dual Microsoft MVP (Office Apps & Services and Data Platform), and the CTO and co-founder of UnlimitedViz, makers of the award-winning Office 365 analytics solution, tyGraph — who have been, btw, a sponsor of the CollabTalk TweetJams for several years now (thanks for your support!). He is also the co-host (along with MVP Jason Himmelstein) of the very popular BIFocal Podcast. For more of a biopic on John, check out my interview John just a couple weeks back for the #MVPbuzzChat interview series, which you can find¬†here.

Thanks again John for supporting UTSPUG / MUGUT, and I’d like to invite any other MVPs or experts out there on the various Microsoft technologies who would like to present to our user group in-person or virtually to please reach out to me. We’d love to have you! And if you’re based in Northern Utah, please take a moment and sign up for the MUGUT Meetup, which is a roll-up of several different user groups in the area, all focused on different aspects of Microsoft technology.
