My Top 15 Favorite Posts from 2017

cbuck nametagIt’s the end of the year, and time to reflect on the year behind us — and then start planning for the year ahead. While I’ve written quite a few pieces that I am truly proud of this year, I wanted to limit this list to primarily standalone posts, rather than those that we part of a series or tied to one of my research projects. For example, I’ve done a lot of writing for KanBo and AvePoint this year, but I’ll summarize those posts separately. This is a list of my favorite posts that have appeared in this blog, on CMSWire and Redmond Magazine, and elsewhere. A couple of these selections focus on specific technologies — but most of them have a broader business focused, and are geared toward business decision-makers who are trying to understand the value proposition of information  management and collaboration investments.

They’re in no particular order:

  1. Deep Dive into Microsoft Teams (RedmondMag)
  2. The Illusion of Control (buckleyPLANET)
  3. Developing a Digital Workplace Strategy for SharePoint (CMSWire)
  4. The ROI of Social Collaboration (buckleyPLANET)
  5. Mastering I.T. Governance (Medium)
  6. Conversation Portability in the Age of the Digital Workplace (buckleyPLANET)
  7. The Virtuous Cycle of Shared Knowledge and Innovation (Medium)
  8. Measuring Sentiment and Engagement (buckleyPLANET)
  9. The Important Role of Search Analytics (BA Insight)
  10. Jump-Starting Team Collaboration (buckleyPLANET)
  11. Why Search Still Matters (buckleyPLANET)
  12. Microsoft’s Road to Permission Marketing and Cloud Adoption (LinkedIn)
  13. The Failure to Manage Productivity (Medium)
  14. Rise of the Digital Workplace (Colligo)
  15. Modern Collaboration with Chatbots (RedmondMag)

I hope you find this collection interesting. Please let me know if you have any personal favorites that are missing from this list 🙂
