Microsoft Community Q&A

Weekly Office Hours with members of the Microsoft CommunityAs we are all working from home, I’ve noticed an increased number of questions from the community around the tools we love and support, such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Planner, OneNote, Outlook, and many others. There’s also been a steady flood of articles sharing best practices for working remote. As I was sitting here thinking about what additional value myself and other could make during this stressful time, I thought it would be useful to dedicate some time to simply answering questions. Of course, I am not an expert on every tool and service in the Microsoft ecosystem, so I’ve sent an open invite to my fellow Microsoft MVPs, RDs, and community experts to join me for a weekly effort to connect with the community and answer their most pressing questions.

Starting Monday, March 23rd I will be hosting a weekly Q&A panel with a variety of Microsoft experts, with sessions running at 8am Pacific and 4pm Pacific, allowing us to reach most global communities in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. These sessions will be live through the links below, live streamed on the Office 365 Community page on Facebook, and recordings published to YouTube. There is NO REGISTRATION, so simply add the dates to your own calendar, and on Monday at the listed times, click on the link to join the discussion. We’ll take questions through the meeting Q&A module, as well as those from Facebook.

My goal is to publish the recordings each Monday evening, and within an associated blog post, provide a listing of the questions asked with links to our responses. The blog posts might take a day or two to compile, but that is my goal. And if you are unable to attend one of the sessions but would like our help to answer a question, leave it in the comments — and we’ll try to address it in the next Q&A session.

How long will we do this? For the next several weeks (end of April), at least. We are living in uncertain times, so we will provide these Office Hours as long as people find value in us doing them. See you online!
