SharePoint Best Practices Conference Recap

Ah yes, nothing better than traveling across the country with a serious chest cold. Makes for some interesting adventures, let me tell you. While I was able to conduct both of my sessions at the conference, what I was not able to do was spend a lot of time talking with members of the SharePoint community – which is one of my favorite parts of attending these events. Thankfully, I am just about healthy and getting ready for a 3-event swing through California and Massachusetts. I’ve included links to my latest slide shares below:

Musical note: One of my favorite people in the world and good friend, John Durant, recently announced that he is leaving Microsoft after 7.5 years. For years he has ended his blogs with a Rock Thought of the Day. Going forward, I’ve decided to do something similar, and share what I am currently listening to.

Today I am enjoying the band The Meeting Places and their album Find Yourself Along the Way. They have a very esoteric, mystical feel, and fit solidly into the shoe-gazing family of bands, such as Film School, the more popular Interpol, or one of my favorite obscure 80’s bands, the Abecedarians.
